Muslims believe that the mountain on the plain of Arafat called the Mount of Mercy is the place where God forgave Adam and Eve for their sins in the Garden of Eden.

They were so grateful to God they built a shrine nearby, the first place that God was ever worshiped.

Muslims believe that this mountain has special significance. They will ask for God's forgiveness and they will receive forgiveness at this place.
