Should Christians hold true to Biblical views about marriage, etc.?

  • The Bible claims that Christians should be "salt".
  • Whilst that is true, we should also not try to be antagonistic unecessarily.
  • A key dividing aspect of Christians at the moment is the issue of homosexual marriage - whilst that does go against the Bible, it should also be remembered that heterosexual fornication and adultery equally are sinful.
  • Also, Christians should remember that our behaviour does not earn our way to Heaven, as it is a gift of God.
  • Therefore, whilst certain actions such as using drugs, fornication, adultery and also homosexuality violate the Bible's teachings, we should remember not to judge, rather teaching with love and concern for those who need God's grace.
